The man who federal officials say was the mastermind behind a commercial sex trafficking ring made his first court appearance Tuesday after being extradited back into the U.S. His business partner also appeared in court Tuesday and was sentenced to more than a decade in prison. Officials say Michael James Pratt, the owner of the website GirlsDoPorn, lied and coerced hundreds of young women to appear in pornographic videos. He was first charged back in 2019 with sex trafficking crimes and was an international fugitive until his arrest in 2022. He stood before a judge Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
