Description

One person is dead and two more were injured in an "active shooter event" in El Cajon Thursday, El Cajon police said. The two other victims, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 40s, were transported to the hospital. They are in stable condition, according to authorities. Police responded to the shooting at a Smile Plus Dentistry office at 480 North Magnolia Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. Multiple police cars were on scene as officers searched the area.
