•Starting at 7:00 pm, instructors Michael and Rosey will lead a lively salsa and bachata class of all skill levels. Following the classes, the floor will ignite at 8:00 pm with the main room devoted to electrifying salsa beats and the 2nd room coming alive with bachata and Latin hits.
• DJ Mambo and DJ Basic will fill the building with salsa and bachata tunes throughout the thrilling night, setting the stage for Hector Rivera Y Su Orquesta to perform salsa classics and original compositions starting at 10:30 pm.
• After just recently celebrating its 15-year anniversary, founder of Queen Bee’s, Alma Rodriguez, is ready to close out the year with a bang!
• Drinks and food will be available to purchase throughout the night. General Admission tickets starting at $35 along with VIP Tables can be purchased here.
• Hector Rivera Y Su Orquesta - Hector Rivera was born and raised in New York to parents from Jayuya, Puerto Rico. He derives his musical inspiration from his father who was a musician for Tito Rodriguez and El Conjunto Capaseti. Hector's musical career began when he joined La Orquesta Dax Pacem at 17 years of age. That same year he launched his first record with them. He has performed with renowned Salsa artists such as Ray Barreto, Hector Lavoe, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colon, Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Ismael Rivera, and many more. Hector founded La Orquesta Conciencia when he moved to San Diego, California, and created several recordings with the group. Now, he is delighting audiences with his original compositions and his unique singing voice.
• John Saltus – Michael John Saltus, a versatile champion and Navy upbringing beneficiary, cultivated adaptability early on. His farm upbringing instilled discipline and hard work, complemented by gym dedication, enabling him to excel in multiple high school and college sports. Discovering salsa as his ultimate dance match, he co-founded Positive Energy Dance Company with Camille Yonnantuono in 2001, elevating himself to the forefront of San Diego's dance scene through teaching, performing, and hosting workshops in diverse dance genres for over two decades.
