Description
The San Diego Workforce Partnership announced a new program Tuesday that will help foster youth find their first job.
It's called Career Pathways for Foster Youth and the program will help both current and former foster care youth who range in ages from 16 to 24 years old.
The new program will connect foster youth with job opportunities, paid internships, education and training programs.
It's made possible by a $5 million investment from San Diego County, as well as partnerships with multiple non-profits.
