Thousands of volunteers work together to divert litter and debris at sites across San Diego. Last year we had more than 5 thousand volunteers and collected 100,000 pounds of litter and debris. • How many sites will there be? 100+ across the region. From Oceanside to San Ysidro. • Why is it important to participate? 80% of all coastal pollution begins inland. Cigarette butts remain our number one item collected at any of our cleanups.
