On this international women’s day, we thought it would be a good time to highlight the millions of women in Iran and women around the world that have supported their efforts. As we’ve been reporting here on our show, Iranian women have risked their lives, trying to fight for freedom. Freedom they used to have, but the current Islamic republic regime has stripped away their rights including the ability to dress as they wish, dance publicly, study freely, and now we’re seeing school girls being poisoned. We’ve seen many rallies here in San Diego by hundreds of Iranians and supporters every single week since September, when Mahsa Amini was killed in Iranian police custody. The organizers of 30 local rallies, is joining us this morning. Bibi Kasrai, thank you so much for being here.
