A Logan Heights duplex that city officials said has been the site of violent criminal activity will be vacated and rehabilitated, the San Diego City Attorney's Office announced Thursday. A court-appointed receiver will take control of the residence at 3006-3008 Greely Ave., where police have responded at least 40 times over the past two years. Though the property is supposed to be vacant, city officials said it'd been occupied by squatters, a man was stabbed "repeatedly" at the property, a woman suffered a fatal drug overdose there, and "frequent reports of fights and screaming" have been made at the home.
