Jesse Macias reports on housing price increases in San Diego in 1977. The value of land was increasing nearly 25% a year and personal income wasn't keeping pace. An analyst projected that in 1978, houses under 80-100,000 dollars would be in short supply.
Check out the site of future homes in Rancho Penasquitos--there was a lot of building going on then.
