Description
The first of some scattered showers have made their arrival in San Diego County to kick off Wednesday. Expect morning showers to persist before partly cloudy skies prevail by the afternoon alongside much cooler than normal temperatures.
The rain has caused some problems Wednesday morning. A 100-year-old plus tree fell onto the corner of a house in Lemon Grove. It also took out telephone lines and even damaged a parked car.
Another wave of moisture will arrive overnight into early Thursday morning, bringing rain totals for the coast and inland to 0.10" to 0.20" with heaviest accumulations (closer to 0.50") over the mountains.
