October 17, 1989 Pop star idol Donny Osmond made a surprise appearance at Dunkin Donuts in Kearny Mesa. He was in town for a concert and dropped by KBZT for an interview with Jeff and Jer. Hey wouldn’t it be fun to go to Dunkin’ Donuts and surprise everyone there? So they did—and CBS 8 found out. This was shortly before Jeff and Jer worked at our radio station B-100. Donny sang ‘Soldier of Love’ and wowed the crowd.
