October 31, 1963 Carnival It has to be dark to enjoy Halloween at its spookiest. So, most local schools held carnivals on the school grounds last night during the witching hours. This also gave parents a chance to go along with the youngsters and try their hand at winning prizes in all kinds of booths or helping keep those intricate costumes tacked together. These TV 8 newsreel films were taken at Bay Park Elementary school. The carnival was typical of those presented throughout out the county. Proceeds from carnivals put on by the PTA go toward school activities.
