Description

The Miramar Air Show is September 23 – 25, but Wednesday was already a big day for CBS 8’s Marcella Lee. Our very own "Maverick" got the rare chance to fly with the Blue Angels and she had just few weeks to get ready. During that time, she's been resting and staying hydrated and even went to bootcamp. In this video, you’ll watch as she arrives on base, goes through a briefing and then makes her way on the tarmac right before she gets on the F/A-18. Marcella also wanted us to thank Petty Officer 2nd Class Cameron Tuzon and Lieutenant Commander Griffin Stangel for teaching her the proper techniques.
