Ten years after Elvis Presley’s death, Village Mall in Escondido paid $5000 for a temporary exhibit of memorabilia belonging to the King of Rock n’ Roll.
Fans were emotional talking to CBS 8’s John Culea—one woman said it made her want to cry and she still missed him.
Items on display were Elvis hair products, studded belts, a bronze bust, costumes, a concert book, his car, and a justice department badge—a gift from President Richard Nixon. A brush with greatness through items he owned.
