Description
Seattle City Attorney Ann Davison is seeking to add new staff in her office due to an increased workload ever since President Donald Trump took office.
Davison said the added work that's gone into responding to Trump's executive orders requires the new positions be added to the City Attorney Office's Federal Response Team.
The federal government stripped away resources from the City of Seattle, primarily due to its status as a sanctuary city. The Small Business Administration announced it would leave Seattle to ensure federal dollars are not spent on undocumented immigrants.
