Description
A Pierce County man whose vehicle was shot twice while he was driving on Interstate 5 in Fife on Jan. 28 is warning other drivers about the dangers of road rage.
Jordan Powers said he was on his way to work around 7 a.m. when he was cut off by someone else. Powers admits he chased the driver and "brake-checked" him, or hit his brakes while driving in front of the other person and flipped him off.
Powers estimates he then followed the driver for 2 miles, when they wound up side-by-side near the 54th Avenue overpass.
"I thought he wanted to exchange some words," he said. "He rolled down his window and instantly fired two shots. No exchange of words, just bam, bam … I was looking the barrel in the eyes as it flashed twice."
