Washington state Attorney General Nick Brown filed a lawsuit Friday challenging President Trump’s executive order on gender-affirming care.
A week after his inauguration, Trump signed an executive order aimed at cutting federal support for gender-affirming medical treatments for people under 19. This includes puberty blockers, hormone therapy and surgery.
