Description
A King County nonprofit is worried President Donald Trump's freeze on federal loans and grants, which was temporarily blocked, would endanger victims of domestic violence, saying a substantial percentage of their funding is on the line.
On Tuesday morning, the Trump Administration directed all funding be paused while they undertake an ideological review of government spending to ensure no federal dollars go toward diversity equity and inclusion, transgender rights, or environmental justice. In the meantime, trillions of dollars in government spending are tied up.
