Description
Visitors to the Mountlake Terrace Off-Leash Dog Park will notice a sign that reads: "Adopt a Park - Pooper Trooper."
It's one of two initial parks where the local business plans to keep free dog waste bags restocked and grounds free of fecal matter - and they're encouraging others to do their part, too.
"Recognizing the significant amount of waste that's being left behind, especially in parks and trails, we decided to start this program where we install a station and provide bags for pickup," Nicki Walters said.
