The race is on to save Southern Resident orcas after earlier this year scientists predicted a faster track to extinction. “If we do nothing, I think we will lose this population forever,” said Rob Williams, co-founder of nonprofit Oceans Initiative, said about the Southern Resident Killer Whales (SRKW).
