Description

One of two ferries that runs between Mukilteo and Clinton is now out of service until further notice. According to Washington State Ferries, the Kitsap boat will not run due to a mechanical issue discovered Tuesday. There is no word on when the ferry could be back in service. The loss of the Kitsap forced the system to run on a condensed service schedule, which caused an hours-long backup on Tuesday.
