For needed goods, it is estimated that 80% of Washington communities rely on trucks alone, according to the Washington Trucking Association. Industry leaders told KING 5 there are not enough new truck drivers. In a matter of years, the shortage could have crisis-level consequences for all of us unless we find a way to pack the pipeline.
