A black bear was seen cruising around a Lakewood neighborhood on Wednesday, prompting a temporary school lockdown and drawing law enforcement as well as wildlife officials to the area. The Lakewood Police Department (LPD) said the bear was seen before eventually climbing a tree near 47th Avenue Southwest and Lila Lane Southwest on May 15.
