Southbound I-5 is fully blocked at Portal Way in Ferndale due to a crash on Tuesday afternoon. The crash was reported at 2:55 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding. Traffic is being diverted onto Portal Way while police investigate. The southbound I-5 on-ramp at Portal Way is also closed.
