Fraternities and sororities at Washington State University (WSU) put a pause on all social events with alcohol after seeing an increase in medical concerns during alcohol-related events. According to WSU, this pause was put forward by the student-run Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils and was not mandated by WSU. The pause will continue until both councils reevaluate all Greek Chapter's policies regarding alcohol.
