Description
A driver suspected to have been under the influence when he allegedly hit and killed a pedestrian before crashing into a Puyallup Walgreens on the morning of Feb. 20 pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide.
Kyle Sandstrom, 41, was charged Feb. 21. Court set bail at $300,000.
Puyallup police and Central Pierce Fire and Rescue units responded at 9:19 a.m. to a collision where a vehicle had crashed into the side of a Walgreens located on South Meridian.
Units were told as they responded that multiple people reported to dispatchers that they had seen a "passenger" fly out of the vehicle just before the crash into the Walgreens.
