Kent police are searching for a suspect who struck and killed an elderly woman who was walking in the road on Sunday evening. Kent police officers and Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of South Central Avenue at around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday after several 911 callers reported a serious accident. Callers reported that a woman had been struck by a car and she was laying in the street. She appeared to be dead, callers reported.
