Description
An Auburn woman is accused of shooting and killing her ex-boyfriend inside of a car in Renton, dumping his body outside of the car then fleeing the scene on Christmas Eve, according to charging documents from the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
The woman, 43-year-old Bridgette Cook, is charged with second-degree murder. She remains in jail in lieu of $1 million bail, according to the prosecutor's office.
King County Medical Examiners identified the victim as Jerid Sprague, 29 of Puyallup. Sprague died from a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a homicide, according to medical examiners.
