Description
Three teens have been arrested in connection to an arson at an abandoned Tacoma middle school on Jan. 3, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
The Tacoma Fire Department responded to Gault Middle School at 1115 E. Division Lane around 4 a.m. on Jan. 3 as flames tore through the roof of the building. Crews did not enter the building because it had been designated as "dangerous and derelict."
Arson investigators developed probable cause to arrest two 15-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl for allegedly starting the fire at the vacant school building. Tacoma and Gig Harbor police officers arrested the teens on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
