A group of paddleboarding Santas hit Lake Washington early Friday morning for a good cause. The Northwest Paddle Community organized Santa Paddle Week. This morning, they launched from the shores of Mercer Island near Interstate 90 and headed west. Organizers said the paddle is a way to spread holiday cheer, and also to raise money for those battling cancer. "It's so fun to be out here and just bring joy to people by all dressing up and paddling," said one participant, Alison Cardinal.
