A male suspect wanted for "several violent felonies" was shot and killed by law enforcement near South Hill Mall in Puyallup on Tuesday afternoon. The shooting occurred next to a state Route 512 ramp, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. Several deputies fired their weapons at the suspect, according to the Pierce County Force Investigation Team. According to preliminary information from Lakewood police Sergeant Charles Porche, a group of Pierce County investigators were searching for the suspect.
