The Tacoma Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting near the Port of Tacoma on Tuesday. Surveillance video from a business on Milwaukee Way shows someone approaching a vehicle at around 5:15 a.m. Soon after, a flash is seen. A person is then seen running down Milwaukee Way. Minutes later. First responders are seen arriving. “Officers arrived and located an adult male who apparently suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound,” said Shelbie Boyd of the Tacoma Police Department. “Officers immediately started life-saving procedures.
