Grammy award-winning singer Brandi Carlile was in Seattle on Tuesday, not to perform a concert, but to celebrate her wife, Catherine. The Metropolitan King County Council honored Catherine Tuesday with the Martin Luther King Jr. Distinguished Service Medal.
