A man was arrested after he attempted to steal a Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry Sunday morning, according to Kitsap Transit. The man gained access to the vessel Lady Swift, which is part of the Kitsap Transit ferry fleet. According to Kitsap Transit, he broke into the vessel’s pilothouse and from there, attempted to operate the boat. Ferry crews witnessed the ferry moving away from the dock and went to investigate. According to Kitsap Transit, once crews reached the boat they tried to convince the man to put down a fire axe and step off the boat.
