The shooting happened on the same street as an at-home daycare facility. Donisha Calhoun's son's daycare is on the same block where Kent Police officers shot and killed a 52-year-old man. "I pulled up and I was getting ready to pick up my son from school and everything was just sectioned off and then came around and tried to get to the other side it was sectioned off," Calhoun said. One by one, officers escorted young children to their parents, and some had to wait over two hours to be reunited with their kids.
