A cold modified arctic air mass is settling in across western Washington bringing with it not only frigid temperatures but areas of lowland snow showers. Many people in the Puget Sound lowlands of King and Snohomish counties saw light accumulating snow Wednesday morning with some areas receiving upwards of 2 inches of snow by the time the snow ended.
