Description
People have studied the skies for clues about the weather for millennia, but recently climate scientists have noticed that clouds are changing, and they are puzzled over exactly why. Some clouds are rising higher into the atmosphere, where they trap more heat. Others are reflecting less sunlight, or shrinking and allowing more solar energy to reach Earth's surface. At the Dynamic Meteorology Laboratory (LMD) of the CNRS (The French National Centre for Scientific Research), researcher Camille Risi studies these variations and puts forward hypotheses.
