Description
No hierarchy, no salaried workers, no individual property... Nestled in an isolated hamlet in the Ardèche, the Longo Maï de Treynas cooperative is one of the few communities to have survived the neo-rural movement of the 1970s. Its members, who found themselves at the centre of a controversy in December 2023 when one of them killed seven hunting dogs that entered the property, cultivate an alternative lifestyle, between a forestry business and anti-capitalist values.
