Description
Nearly halfway through the spring break travel rush, SEA Airport has experienced a parking crunch, even warning drivers that the 12,000 capacity garage is nearly full.
The airport previously said an estimated 2.8 million people would pass through between April 6-17, a 5% increase over the same time last year.
"If you're driving up be aware it may take you some time to drive around and find a spot," said Perry Cooper, an airport spokesperson. "Parking has been a bit of a challenge the last couple of weeks for spring break. That's not unusual. We have a confluence of business travelers as well as people taking off for leisure trips."
