Sudan's civil war has resulted in "approximately 13 million" displaced people as the fighting grinds into its third year, says the UNHCR's Regional Director for West & Central Africa. Speaking in Dakar, Senegal, Abdouraouf Gnon-Konde explains that almost 90 percent of those fleeing "are women and children".
