Two of the elite private school programs in Texas high school football will square off for the second time in a month, as Parish Episcopal visits Prestonwood Christian with a berth in the state semifinals at stake. Parish and Prestonwood played an incredible game on Oct. 25, battling back and forth all night in a game that Prestonwood ultimately won 52-49. Parish Episcopal quarterback Sawyer Anderson threw for 517 yards and six touchdowns in the game. But Prestonwood was able to overcome that, behind Luke Glass and LJ Taylor. Glass threw for 304 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Taylor ran for 221 yards and three scores of his own, as the Lions won with a late TD run from Taylor. The two teams combined for 1,260 yards of offense in the game. Yes, Friday should be fun.
