Uniqlo's first store in the DFW area opened Friday, Oct. 18 at the Galleria Dallas. The grand opening features a slate of events and exclusive products from local artisans and designers, according to a press release from the company. The grand opening kicks off with a ribbon cutting and a Japanese drum performance, according to the release. Doors will officially open at 10 a.m. The Japanese retailer partnered with four local artists to create T-shirts with limited-edition designs. The T-shirts will be available at the Galleria Dallas location for a full year. The brand collaborated with CocoAndre Chocolatier of Oak Cliff, 15-year-old artist Dear Giana, illustrator Michelle Spearman and Olmo Market of Oak Cliff.
