The entire law enforcement community is facing a tragic reality: Suicide risks rank about 54% higher for those in law enforcement, according to Houston Police Officers' Union president Douglas Griffith. The Harris County Sheriff's Office can attest to the massive impact it can have on a department -- they're feeling the sting a bit more. Four of their own -- one current and three former employees -- recently died by suicide.
