Houston police have identified the woman arrested after a deadly wrong-way crash on the North Freeway near Crosstimbers early Thursday. Monica Rosenda Valdez, 32, is charged with intoxication manslaughter. HPD investigators say Valdez had been driving an F-150 pickup north in the southbound lanes for 10-15 minutes when she crashed into a Jeep Cherokee around 3:15 a.m. The driver of the Jeep, 56-year-old Steve Narley, died at the scene. His son told KHOU 11 on Friday that Narley was an engineer in the energy sector. He said the family came to Houston from Ghana.
