Description

The accused gunman in Sunday's Pearland flea market shooting surrendered Tuesday morning, police said. David Negrete, 19, turned himself in to the custody of the Brazoria County Jail around 10 a.m. The mass shooting at Cole's Flea Market left a 10-year-old boy dead and four people injured. Negrete is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police say there were at least two shooters, possibly three, involved in an altercation that led to a shootout. Read more
