Description
Feb. 19 on The Story: Staring down the barrel of a budget shortfall of over $100 million, the city of Portland is now gaming out where it will need to make cuts. Key to that process is Michael Jordan, the chief overseer of the city's transition to a new form of government and city administrator through the end of 2025. This isn't Jordan's first rodeo when it comes to the city budget, nor the first one to feature cuts during his tenure. But it's certainly the most dire in scope. Blair Best sat down with Jordan to see what programs are facing cuts in the next year, and how that could impact Portland residents.
