During a recent meeting, a newly elected member of the Clark County Council took issue with the custom of opening public meetings with an "invocation." While ostensibly open to a wider array of beliefs, it's typically been dedicated to a Christian prayer. But the council member's comments quickly resulted in a backlash from members of the public — some of whom attacked Councilor Wil Fuentes directly.
