Over the Christmas holiday, thieves stole equipment as the Skamania County Sheriff's Office search-and-rescue team were recovering two men who were reported missing while searching for Sasquatch. Community members raised over $73,000 through an online fundraiser and the rescue team was able to replace all of their stolen gear.
