Description
The OHSU board of directors was expected to consider a resolution to name Dr. Nathan Selden the next president of OHSU on Friday, but chose to table the motion after what they said were hours of deliberation. President Danny Jacobs has only said he is resigning “for personal reasons” — however, a lawsuit was filed the day he announced his resignation by a current employee, Dr. David Jacoby.
Jacoby is suing OHSU, as well as former OHSU employee Qiana Williams, claiming defamation and retaliation. He claims in the lawsuit that they made false statements and blamed him for how OHSU poorly handled misconduct of another faculty member, who at the time was accused of taking photos under a table of female students with skirts.
