Description
May 14 on The Story: Last July, Washington County Civil Deputy Charles Dozé was serving an eviction notice in Tualatin when the occupant of an apartment opened fire, hitting Dozé seven times. While he narrowly escaped death, his life was forever changed. He lost his left eye, and he underwent multiple surgeries in the span of 10 days. Nearly a year later, he's still working hard to recover from the event — and despite being fit before the shooting, the 70-year-old has his work cut out for him to get back his strength. He still has months of physical therapy and more surgeries ahead of him.
