Last year, 74 people died in homicides within the city, the vast majority of them shootings. But usually reporters only get the basics — who was shot, where and what happened afterward. We rarely get a detailed account of how a shooting happened or why. But in October, a deadly road rage shooting unfolded in busy downtown Portland in broad daylight, and the entire ordeal was incredibly well-documented.
